SPRING/SUMMER STYLE TRENDS

We have finally had our first rays of sunshine in the UK these past 2 weeks and we all know that means... wardrobe update!! (It could snow tomorrow at this point and we would just point blank refuse to get back into our chunky boots and oversized scarfs). Now whilst we love just chilling at home in our pretty slippers and super comfy loungewear they are unfortunately not appropriate to wear 24/7, so when we do go out, we like to look stylish.

By far the best part about starting a new season is having a look at the new trends and having fun incorporating them into our outfits; so we have rounded up our top 5 for this Spring Summer that we thought we would share.

GINGHAMA perfectly classic print that has made a big comeback this Spring Summer, it is such an easy print but one that can completely elevate a relatively plain outfit into something much more stylish and polished. As shown above it looks amazing with a bright coloured bag (note: red and pink are this season's 'IT' colours) and can we just all just take a second to appreciate that slightly off-shoulder, wrap around, oversized bow beauty on the far left... 😍 we love!

STATEMENT SLEEVESNow this is a trend we are excited for! The great thing about it is that you can also go as big and as loud as you want or could do it rather understated (a small statement if you will) such as the girl in the 2nd image. It is also a super easy way to incorporate another trend for Spring Summer; ruffles. There is so many options to choose from in terms of a 'statement sleeve' that you can find something that suits your style, some are as simple as a tie around the wrists.

EMBROIDERYWe all knew this one was coming... embroidery has been everywhere and I truly mean everywhere for quite a while now. It has obviously been very popular this Autumn Winter but as with most trends and it is certainly not going anywhere any time soon. Love it or hate it, one thing is certain the Gucci-mania is real...

CROPPED JEANSFor those of us who are not really avid trend followers and instead prefer sticking to classic timeless pieces that they can wear season after season, then this one is for you. Any pair of cropped jeans no matter what style is sure to put you on trend however the most fashion forward style is probably the cropped flare. You can go classic such as the jeans in the second picture for a true parisian girl style or to be even more trendy you can go with a messily cut uneven hem such as the ones pictured 3rd.

TINTED SUNGLASSESNo matter what comes to your mind, Elton John or old school Paris Hilton, big 80s aviator sunnies with just a light tint are set to be a big trend this spring summer. They are guaranteed to give the ultimate cool girl vibe and are the perfect thing to give a bit of edge to a basic outfit. Let's be honest once something has been seen on the likes of Bella Hadid and the Victoria's Secret supermodels you are almost guaranteed to see it all over Instagram.
