Autumn has certainly begun and we’re here for it! Cold evenings mean one thing; a cosy night in routine. The leaves are falling and what's pumping around our bodies is 95% pumpkin spice latte so it is definitely time to plan those halloween nights in. Halloween falls on a Monday this year so our plans will not be containing any wild nights out, think more, wrapped in a fluffy dressing gown, your favourite glass of red, takeout pizza and a movie marathon Freddy Krueger would be scared of…
So let’s begin with our must-haves for the best Halloween night yet!
Cosy up for a scarathon like no other!
Nothing beats a halloween themed film on the spookiest night of the year (unless you’re our Operations Manager, Lou, who would sooner swap a scary film for cult classic, Mean Girls) Here are our top 5 to get started: Insidious (recommended by Marketing Manager, Phoebe, and probably the scariest on the list!), Jennifer’s Body, Split, The Conjuring and finally, a classic, Halloween.
All. the. snacks.
What Halloween is complete without overindulging on sweets and snacks? Head to the shops and grab a range of your favourite snacks like popcorn, jelly babies, ice cream, crisps and not forgetting, chocolate. You’ve now got the movies chosen and the snacks sorted, what’s next?
Add the cosy to your cosy night in
We know times are hard this Autumn, and energy bills are the scariest thing about Halloween 2022, but creating a comfortable and relaxing environment in your home is still a high priority as it is vital in keeping mental health and down-time at the forefront. Dig out your winter blankets, surround yourself in fluffy pillows or grab the bedding off your bed and snuggle up on the sofa for a well deserved session of me-time. If you’re yearning for that extra cosy vibe, light your favourite candles and check out our ultra fluffy cloud robes to wrap up in this Autumn.
These are just a few ideas to help you unwind and relax this Halloween.. We’d love to hear what your plans are for the Halloween period and how you’ll be spending the spookiest night of the year?
